BRITT, John Thomas Britt of 960 E. 29th, Eugene, passed away at his home Jan. 2, 1953, at the age of 17 years. He was born in Council Bluffs, Iowa, Oct. 19, 1935. He was a student at the Eugene High School. He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. James H. Britt; also 2 brothers; Earl of Council Bluffs, Iowa, and Robert in California; also 4 sisters survive, Violet Rasmussen, Ardeth Spalti, Elva Gibbs, all of Council Bluffs, Iowa, and June Rose Carle of Eugene. Funeral Services will be announced later by Poole-Larsen Funeral Home.

A former Council Bluffs youth was found dead in his car Friday at Eugene, Ore.
He is Jon Thomas Britt, 17 son of Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Britt, formerly of Council Bluffs. Death was attributed to carbon monoxide poisoning, a local relative said.
Britt attended Thomas Jefferson High School here. A native of Council Bluffs, he lived here until the family moved to Eugene a year ago. He was formerly a Nonpareil carrier.
Survivors include; Parents; two brothers, Earl of Des Moines and Robert of Brodrick, Calif.; four sisters, Mrs. Violet Rasmussen, Mrs. Ardith Spalti, and Mrs. Elva Gibbs, all of Council Bluffs; and Mrs. Junerose Carle of Eugene, Ore; and his grandmother, Mrs Cora Armstrong of Council Bluffs.
Services will be held at Eugene Wednesday with burial there.
